There are few people that actually refer to me by my full name (I'm looking at you mom & dad), so please, call me Sam!​

I'll be the one behind the lens, capturing stunning footage to tell your story with! Photography is something I fell into during business school and have always loved. It wasn't that big of a surprise considering growing up I was always the kid with a camera in hand (all the yearbook nerds raise your hand!). Having pictures to look back on is something I cherish myself, and I love being able to deliver that same joy to others.

My husband and I fit the small-town, high school sweetheart cliche quite well. We grew up in neighbouring farming communities and attended the same school, began dating in my tenth grade, fell in love fast, and married at nineteen. After spending a couple years in the big city of Calgary, we came running back home to dig some deep roots and start our family together on our farm (Newell Roots Ranch). We have three beautiful children in our little brood.

I'm always busy on our farm doing something. From raising bottle baby calves, to hatching out chicks, to failing at being a gardener - life on the ranch never slows down!
